After replenishing supplies we headed in search of Deer Park Heights. We were very enthusiastic and excited because our location guide book revealed 7 (seven!!!) sites located there and what's more: the guide actually included a little map for orientation! A much needed feature for all other chapters, believe us!
Thus we were really pumped but had a little trouble finding our way. That author really can't be counted on good directions...
So we hailed a lady by the side walk and this is what she said:
"Deer Park Heights? Oh. It's closed!"
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Imagine two very heartbroken tourists.
Listlessly we turned the car around and drove toward Te Anau...
